Principal Tony A Allen, grew up in Immokalee Florida where he graduated from Immokalee High School. After high school, he attended Cumberland College and completed his degree in Special Education from Nova Southeastern University. After completing his degree he started teaching Varying Exceptionalities in a Title 1 school in his hometown of Immokalee. After a few years, he returned to Nova where he obtained a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. He has served in several leadership roles during his 28 years in education, from a head coach to an assistant principal, most recently serving as an Assistant Principal at Lexington Middle School. Although his prior leadership experience has been rewarding, they have played a role in preparing him for his current role as the Principal of East Lee High School. He is really excited about this opportunity and looks forward to supporting the students, families, and the community of ELCHS. GO JAGS!

Brent Burnside, the 2017 AAL Assistant Coach of the Year has had his hand in playing and coaching football for nearly 2 decades. Burnside has spent 10 years as a player (8 with the Florida Firecats of the AF2) and the last 7 as the Director of Player Personnel and Defensive Coordinator with the Florida Tarpons. Before turning Pro, Burnside attended Missouri Western State from ‘96-’99 where he was named 1st team All-conference Defensive Back and was tied for the national lead in interceptions (8). As a pro he was named the 2004 Arena Cup MVP while helping the Florida Firecats to an AF2 title and has aided in putting together 2 Championship teams with the Florida Tarpons, once in 2013 and again in 2015. Most Recently, Burnside was the head coach of the Gulf Coast Fire who won the inaugural A-League indoor title in 2019 and served as Assistant Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator at East Lee County HS in 2021. Coach Burnside is excited to continue leading in the athletic world as the Athletic Director for East Lee County High. Go Jags! |

Ms. Marics is excited to begin her second year as a high school administrator! Ms. Marics has an impressive background, having graduated from LSHS in 2010 and obtained a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Psychology, as well as a Master's in Education Leadership from USF. With her 11th year in Lee County this year, she brings valuable experience and dedication to her new role. On top of her professional achievements, Ms. Marics is a loving mom to baby Emilia and proud owner of two adorable dogs, Dexter and Rex. When she's not enriching young minds, you can find her enjoying her passions for distance running, reading, and baking. Ms. Marics is excited to make a positive impact by creating meaningful connections with students and families in our Jaguar community.

Mrs. Ellen Green is excited to begin her 20th year as a school administrator. Born and raised in rural Central Illinois, Mrs. Green has served in various administrative roles over the years and prior to administration, taught Middle and High School Social Studies. Mrs. Green has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and a Master of Science Degree in Educational Administration from Western Illinois University. Mrs. Green moved to Southwest Florida in July of 2017 to continue her administrative career as an Assistant Principal at East Lee County High School, and is proud to continue to be a Jaguar! On her personal time, Mrs. Green enjoys spending time with her husband and dog. She enjoys riding her motorcycle, traveling and cheering on the Chicago Bears!

Mr. Morrison was born and raised in Belle Glade, FL. He holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Gulf Coast University and a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Florida. Mr. Morrison joined the East Lee County family in 2017, where he served as a United States History teacher. In 2019 he was awarded the Dr. Theron Trimble Social Studies Teacher of the Year Award for the state of Florida.
Mr. Morrison is a student advocate and is committed to building relationships and creating a safe learning environment for students and teachers. He is excited to continue to serve the Jaguar family!

Ms. Sarzyyniak

Ms. Sarzyniak is proud and excited to continue her career here at East Lee County High School as our new assistant principal. Born and raised in North Tonawanda, New York, Ms. Sarzyniak was proud to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Bonaventure University where she played Division One Softball. She moved down to Fort Myers, Florida shortly after graduation and began her teaching career which has spanned 17 years. She has taught in the elementary, middle, and high school levels while earning her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University. Ms. Sarzyniak joined the East Lee County family in August of 2021 as our science coach where she specialized in helping to develop new teachers and increasing our teachers' impact in their classrooms. Her passion is creating engaging and academically challenging classrooms to prepare students for success. In her free time Ms. Sarzyniak enjoys watching her hometown football team the Buffalo Bills and traveling with her family to Walt Disney World.

Mrs. Kristin Stevens Hendrick was born and raised in New England. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Secondary Education from Gordon College, and began her career in academic counseling in 2007. Mrs. Stevens moved to Lee County in 2009, where she worked as a Social Studies teacher for eight years before taking a position as a Professional Development & Leadership Specialist in Curriculum and Instructional Innovation, overseeing Social Studies and Advanced Courses. Through that role, she met the staff and students at East Lee County High School and quickly decided to become a full-time Jaguar! She served as the Testing Coordinator and Graduation Peer Collaborative Teacher at East Lee before transitioning into the role of Assistant Principal for Curriculum. She is excited to continue to help all Jaguars reach their highest potential!
