East Lee Leadership Academy
The Vision of East Lee Leadership Academy is:
“To be a world-class provider of leadership education and to prepare students for career success by providing rigorous and relevant learning opportunities while challenging students to achieve the highest potential of their minds and bodies.”
The Mission of East Lee Leadership Academy is:
“To provide students with a high-quality education, incorporating the JROTC principles of leadership, discipline, patriotism, community service, and honor. The staff will be dedicated to the development of the mental, physical, and moral well-being of all students/cadets by preparing cadets to become productive American citizens.”
The East Lee Leadership Academy works together with the Mission and Goals of JROTC which is “to motivate young people to become better citizens”. The JROTC Program combines classroom instruction and extracurricular activities oriented on attaining an awareness of the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of citizenship; developing the cadet’s sense of personal responsibility; promoting wellness and physical fitness; building life skills; and providing leadership opportunities.
The faculty and staff at East Lee County High School (ELCHS) are entirely dedicated to the students and their families. ELLA believes that parents are an essential component for success. We create a well–rounded student by welcoming families into our world-class learning environment. Our community is boundless with unlimited access to the world through educational technology tools. We educate outside of the traditional means by offering technology on and off campus, utilizing outdoor classrooms (such as our rappel tower and firing range), and allowing students to learn at their own pace by varying teaching styles.
The ELLA goal is the improved academic achievement of all students at East Lee County High School, and we live by the motto, “Success is the Only Option.”
